According to the tourism statistics of the Turkish State Statistics Committee for January-March 2022, tourism revenues increased by 122.4 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 5 billion 454 million 488 thousand dollars. 76.5 percent of tourism revenues (excluding mobile phone roaming and marina service costs) came from foreign visitors, and 23.5 percent from citizens living abroad.
