Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United Mexican States Mammad Talibov has met with Mexican Tourism Minister Miguel Torruco Marquez.
SIA reports quoting AZERTAC: According to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico, the meeting focused on the prospects for tourism development between Mexico and Azerbaijan, the mutual growth of tourist flows and the effectiveness of exchange of experience in this sector, issues of cooperation, such as air communication and the possibility of introducing an electronic Mexican visa for Azerbaijani citizens.
The event also stressed the need to continue efforts to revive the tourism sector in the post-pandemic period, to promote contacts between the tourism industry of the two countries in order to restore this important sector of the economy.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Torruko acquainted Talibov with the Punto México exhibition dedicated to private handicrafts in Mexico.
