Russian tour operators continue to work to increase tourism programs abroad. This year Russian tourists can travel to only 12 countries, SİA informs, citing RIA Novosti.
Fun & Sun tour operator offers direct flights (or from third countries) from Russia to Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkiye, Thailand, Qatar, Egypt, Maldives, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Indonesia (Bali), Serbia, and Armenia.
The company said that from April 9, the list of countries might be expanded due to the lifting of the existing restrictions on flights to 52 countries, including charter flights, because of COVID-19: "However, this process requires time and careful research, as it depends on the restrictions imposed by other states," said Fun & Sun.
Currently, the main problem is to find a charter flight to meet the needs of the market in the most popular destinations, such as Turkiye and Egypt. However, it is noted that the problem is already being solved.
Anex Tour said Turkish Airlines would carry out flights to Turkiye from April 29.
