The list of people allowed to enter and leave Azerbaijan by air has been expanded.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decision to this effect to amend the decision "On measures to extend the special quarantine regime and remove some restrictions," SİA informs.
The new decision will allow people with a United Nations (UN) permit to enter and leave Azerbaijan.
So far, Azerbaijani citizens, as well as holders of diplomatic passports, heads of diplomatic missions and consulates of foreign countries in Azerbaijan, employees and their families, foreigners and stateless persons with work permits in the Republic of Azerbaijan, foreigners with temporary or permanent residence permits in Azerbaijan and stateless persons and their family members (wife, husband), foster parents and children under 18, as well as children with disabilities under 18, persons specially authorized to enter the country by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan were permitted to enter and exit Azerbaijan by air on the basis of relevant supporting documents and a certificate confirming the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19 issued within 72 hours before the flight.
