Dashalty village gets facelift with tourism infrastructure construction

Construction work is set to commence on tourism infrastructure in Azerbaijan’s Dashalty village, Trend reports via the unified internet portal for state procurements.

The State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan is undertaking preparatory activities related to the said initiative.

The agency estimates that the infrastructure development will cost over 3.7 million manat ($2.1 million).

To note, the wheels are already turning on restoration and construction efforts in the village. The plans are a mixed bag, covering everything from public and residential centers to cultural and educational institutions. They’re also throwing in social and community facilities, not to mention carving out some dedicated tourism zones to boot.

The project will include the establishment of transportation and communication networks, landscaping initiatives, and the installation of infrastructure to provide the village with sustainable energy.
