Turkiye's Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, stated that Turkiye can assist Saudi Arabia in achieving its ambitious tourism targets, SIA reports with reference to Turkish media.
Speaking at the Turkiye-Saudi Arabia Investment and Business Forum held in Istanbul, the minister answered journalists' questions, saying, "Saudi Arabia has very ambitious tourism goals. Turkiye has significant experience in the construction sector. We can contribute to the construction and operation of facilities in Saudi Arabia, as well as attracting tourists there through our tour operators.
Turkiye is among the top 5 countries globally in tourism. Our figures for 2023 are clear. When global figures are revealed, we might be ranked 3rd or 4th. In other words, Turkiye has extensive experience in tourism."
