Representing Germany, the athlete expressed her happiness at securing the first-place position, stating, "I am delighted with my performance. Everything went as I wanted. I am returning to Germany with a gold medal. It couldn't have been any better. I believe that I will repeat such results in the future."
As the winner of the floor exercises, Varfolomeyev praised the organization, saying, "Everything was excellent. It was fantastic to feel the support of Azerbaijani fans. Therefore, I thank your people for their support."
