The majority of the voters in Azerbaijan are women, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov said, SİA informs.
Panahov noted that the majority of nearly 40,000 members of the Commission are women too:
"We attach importance to the activity of women voters on the voting day. The role of women in this matter is higher than that of men."
