On Friday, at one of the construction sites in Rostov-on-Don, two people died and some were injured as a result of a tower crane overturning, SIA reports, citing the press service of the Regional General Department of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia.
"At 16:55 Moscow time, information was received about the collapse of the tower crane at the construction site. As a result, two people (primarily a crane operator and a worker) died," the statement reads.
Investigations are currently being conducted at the scene, and the identity of the deceased is being determined.
