Number of deaths on the Kyrgyz-Tajikistan border increases

The number of casualties on the Kyrgyz-Tajikistan border have been increasing. The former Soviet republics clashed over a border dispute on Sept. 14-16.

The number of those who lost their lives in the clashes increased from 59 to 62, and the number of injured increased to 198, SIA refers to foreign media.

In the previous statements of the Tajik authorities, it was stated that 35 people lost their lives and 30 people were injured in the clashes. The total number of those who lost their lives in the conflicts between the two countries has increased to 97, and the number of injured has increased to 228.
