The first black female pilot of the spacecraft will arrive in the Azores

Three female astronauts, including Xian Proctor, the first black woman to fly a spaceship, will attend the Glex Global Geological Exploration Summit in the Azores (Portugal) on July 4-7.

The female astronauts will present the elite of space exploration on the Glex, SIA reports quoting AZERTAC.

Born on the Pacific island of Guam, American professor of geology Xian Proctor is not only the first black woman to fly in a spaceship, but also the first black commercial astronaut.

This year's Glex summit will once again bring the world's geological elite together in San Miguel, Portugal, one of the islands of the Azores archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean. The Third Global Geological Exploration Summit, "What Will Happen Next?" The theme will be the motto and source of inspiration for the various sessions. The program will include four main topics - oceans, space exploration, nature conservation and climate change, as well as more than 40 presentation sessions, which are the current and future major expeditions of our time.
