Azerbaijan and Turkiye discussed cyber security issues

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with visiting head of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Turkey Ali Taha Koç. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey on cyber security, the "government cloud" and the development of human capital, the ministry told SIA.

The holding of the TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival for the first time outside Turkey this year in Azerbaijan was assessed as another successful example of the historical friendship, brotherhood and strategic partnership between our countries.

It was noted that the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the festival and the personal awarding of the winners of the competitions is an indication of the highest level of support for TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan.

It was noted at the meeting that the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport also successfully cooperates with the Digital Transformation Office. The Roadmap of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Working Group on Digital Transformation, signed in Baku in September last year, serves as a legal basis for this cooperation.

The agreement on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Working Group on Digital Transformation was reached during a meeting between Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev and Chairman of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidential Administration of Turkey Ali Taha Koç on February 18, 2021 in Ankara.
