SpaceX's Starlink satellite services will be activated in Azerbaijan in October-December this year, a source in the telecommunications market told Report.
The 74th International Astronautical Congress will be held in Baku on October 2-6 this year.
Starlink has not yet disclosed the cost of services and equipment, but has set the amount of the deposit. Those wishing to use satellite services must pay $9 (15.3 manats) in advance for a pre-order. If the customer changes their mind, SpaceX will refund this amount.
The company noted that orders will be executed on a first-come, first-served basis.
