The Turkish Baykar company has successfully tested the Bayraktar vertical takeoff and landing drone, SİA informs, citing Anadolu Agency.
Tests related to raising the UAV to a height of 8000 feet have been completed.
The UAV, which is planned to be launched this year, has the capabilities of autonomous and semi-autonomous flight, as well as autonomous takeoff and landing.
The tactical drone also performs surveillance and reconnaissance tasks.
