According to the information obtained by the SIA from Russian websites, the results of the investigation were published on the "Numbeo" website.
In the list of the most expensive cities, Basel is in the second place, and Zurich is in the third place. The top ten also includes Zug, Lausanne, Bern, Geneva, Honolulu, Santa Barbara and New York.
In total, 510 cities were included in the list. In the rating, St. Petersburg is ranked 279th, and Moscow is ranked 287th. Russian cities include Kazan (300th), Novosibirsk (301st), Krasnodar (313th), Nizhny Novgorod (316th) and Rostov-on-Don (345th).
In December 2021, Expat Insider analysts ranked the world's best cities for expats to live and work in. Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Malaga (Spain), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Sydney (Australia) and Singapore took the first places in this list.
