Astra Space: Rocket 3.3 ultralight rocket failed to put NASA satellites into orbit, SİA reports citing Lenta.ru
Astra Space’s Rocket 3.3 ultralight rocket failed to launch two NASA Tropics meteorological satellites into orbit. Interfax writes about this with reference to the developer company.
“We had a regular flight of the first stage. However, the second stage turned off ahead of time, and we were unable to deliver the payload into orbit, ”the company explained.
Rocket 3.3 was launched from Launch Complex 46 at Cape Canaveral, Florida at 13:43.
Earlier it was reported that NASA launched a satellite that is able to predict climate disasters.
The GOES-T spacecraft will monitor for alarming weather changes – dust storms, landslides, hurricanes and tornadoes – over the Western Hemisphere. It will also monitor lightning, coastal fog and forest fires around the clock.
