Putin to visit Turkiye in coming days, reports say

Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Turkiye in the coming days, SİA informs, citing Yeni Safak newspaper.

According to the newspaper, a high-level Russian delegation will visit Ankara. A trade delegation led by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak is going to be on a visit to Turkiye tomorrow. The delegation will hold high-level meetings with ministries related to the economy.

Moreover, many European companies have withdrawn from the Russian market due to sanctions against Russia. From this month, Russia will not be able to buy any products from the EU and Africa. This issue will also be on the agenda of the meetings to be held between the delegations. Steps will be taken to allow Turkish companies to enter the Russian market.

In a phone conversation, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan invited Vladimir Putin to Turkiye for a high-level business meeting. In this context, Putin is expected to visit Turkiye in the coming days.
