An event dedicated to the April 23 national sovereignty and children's holiday was held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace today. Prior to the event, the guests got acquainted with the exhibition.
The event was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci and Deputy Minister of Education Mukhtar Mammadov. At the opening of the event, the anthems of both countries were performed by a children's choir.
Later, Deputy Minister of Education Mukhtar Mammadov said that holding such an event is important for the children of both countries to grow up as friends.
During his speech, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci stressed the importance of national sovereignty and the importance of explaining it to children.
After the official part of the event, dance and music samples were performed by various children's groups.
