Restoration work should be carried out on the basis of science - DEPUTY MINISTER

"As a result of the 44-day war, we were able to liberate our lands. It is impossible to express these wonderful feelings in words. " The statement came from Deputy Education Minister Firudin Gurbanov, SIA reports.

According to him, our historical monuments have been under occupation and destroyed for a long time: “Today we have the opportunity to restore these monuments. Very serious and intensive work is already being done in this direction. Smart cities and villages are being built. Restoration of historical and cultural monuments is one of the important issues. We are known in the world for our culture. Azerbaijani culture is rich in beautiful and unique works of art.

Today, it is very important to restore our destroyed heritage and obtain scientific conclusions on how to use it. In this sense, there is a need for scientific research of our architectural heritage. This work must be carried out on the basis of a deep scientific base. Our scientists must be involved in this direction in a practical way. This conference, dedicated to the restoration and protection of the rich architectural heritage of Karabakh, is of great importance. There will be discussions in many areas within the conference, and I wish everyone success. "
