An event was held with the participation of Georgian cultural figures - EVENT

Today, Deputy Minister of Culture Sevda Mammadaliyeva and Rector of the Baku Music Academy Farhad Badalbeyli met with a delegation of prominent Georgian cultural figures visiting Baku at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. During the meeting, it was noted that both countries have an ancient history and rich cultural heritage, and the organization of joint cultural events played an important role in strengthening relations between the two countries.

The delegation was informed about the vandalism and cruelty committed by Armenians against the material culture of Azerbaijan during the occupation for almost 30 years, as well as the restoration and construction work carried out in the territories liberated as a result of our victory in the 44-day war.

The delegation will visit Ganja, Fizuli, Jabrayil, Shusha and Agdam on April 15-17. The delegation was briefed on the destroyed infrastructure of the city as a result of rocket attacks on Ganja, the damage to Azerbaijan's material and cultural heritage in the liberated territories, including minefields and mine clearance, the newly commissioned Fizuli airport, destroyed Muslim cultural and historical monuments, detailed information was given about the Natavan's house complex, Khan Gizi spring, the walls of Shusha fortress, the area with the remains of Panahali khan's palace, Bulbul's house-museum, Cidir field, as well as the ongoing construction work.
