The 5th Republican Children's Art Competition "My Azerbaijan" announced for children and teenagers continues.
SIA reports quoting AZERTAC, the competition is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Education, Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint-Stock Company, Khatai District Executive Power, Azerbaijan Artists 'Union, Nakhchivan Artists' Union, Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and Khatai Art Center. It is held within the framework of the "Year of Shusha".
The competition is organized to stimulate the creativity of children, adolescents and young people, to improve their approach to the cultural environment, to develop their artistic taste, to promote the morality of the Azerbaijani people, the heroism of the Azerbaijani soldiers, the cultural heritage of our liberated territories.
Talented individuals under the age of 21 can participate in the competition by submitting a photo of the work to the Khatai Art Center's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/144172178999749/?ref=share) until May 2, the name of the work, the author's name, surname, their date of birth, school and contact number.
The works must be posted one by one on the Facebook group, the information must be complete, no more than 2 works must be sent.
The subject is free. Most children's works will be selected based on their feelings and thoughts. The selection will be based on the correct composition, color choice and idea, taking into account the age of the author.
Uninterrupted work will be preferred during the selection. Foreign citizens can also take part in the competition.
The selection will be held in 3 age categories and a separate exhibition will be held for each age category: up to 11 years old, 11-16 and 16-21 years old.
Works from the first round must be brought to the Khatai Art Center for display at the exhibition.
If there are those who are dissatisfied with the selection of the jury (teacher, parent and student), they can apply to the e-mail address [email protected] within 3 working days from the announcement of the selection and confirm themselves by drawing under the supervision of a member of the jury at the appointed time. .
Authors whose works are displayed at the exhibition will be awarded certificates and letters of appreciation from active learning centers (clubs, art schools, etc.).
The authors of the top 10 works in each age group will be invited to the festival. Festival participants will be awarded with diplomas and gifts.
