Azerbaijan returns to liberated territories not only by economic projects, but also cultural projects - Minister says

“We should not only be content with protecting the heritage of our ancestors but also should create new creativity examples,” said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Anar Karimov at the press conference “Yesterday, today and tomorrow”, SİA reports.

The minister noted that new directions have also been determined in this framework: “National priorities list for 2030 also includes the development of cultural and creative industries and it has been mentioned in the development of the sustainable economy unit. Our mission of liberation of Karabakh after the Patriotic war and returning culture to our territories is also being continued.

Declaring Shusha a cultural capital was a very important message. It was the return of Azerbaijan to its liberated territories with its culture. Azerbaijan returns to Karabakh not only by economic, energy projects but also with cultural projects. Although Azerbaijan was subjected to Khojaly genocide, it returns with peace challenges to these territories.”
