Representatives of Azerbaijan will participate at the First International Handicrafters Festival 2019 to be held in Kokand, Uzbekistan, on September 10-15. Applied art works of Azerbaijan will be showcased at the festival SIA reports referring to Azertag.
The International Handicrafters Festival will gather more than 600 artisans from more than 70 countries and more than 120 representatives of various handicraft organizations.
The festival will also host a conference aimed developing and promoting handcraftsmanship.
Azerbaijani Culture Minister Abulfaa Garayev, as well as Azerbaijani ambassador to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev and Director of the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Tashkent Samir Abbasov will attend the opening ceremony of the festival.
