Azerbaijan's State Service conducted Monitoring at Amaras monastery

Monitorings have been conducted at the historical-cultural monuments in Garabagh by the employees of the State Service starting from 2020, as well as following the anti-terrorism meausers carried out in 2023, Head of the State Service for Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development, and Rehabilitation of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Hajiyeva said as she answered APA's related question while speaking with journalists.

The Head of the Service noted that only 163 of the 705 monuments on the list have not been monitored yet: "This is because of the areas they are located at. Because it is not possible to conduct a monitoring there, both in terms of terrain and due to other security issues."

According to Sabina Hajiyeva, following the anti-terrorism meausers in September 2023, as in a lot of historical-cultural monuments, Amaras monastery was also monitored.
