Ukrainian culture is respected in Azerbaijan, Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Vladyslav Kanevskyi posted on Facebook, SİA informs.
The diplomat also touched upon the issues discussed during his visit to the northwestern region of Azerbaijan: "Expanding the geography of Ukraine's presence in Azerbaijan, enriching the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani interregional cooperation with practical content, creating conditions for the activities of Ukrainian diaspora organizations were the main topics of conversation with the heads of the executive powers of Zagatala and Sheki districts Mubariz Ahmadzada and Elkhan Usubov, respectively".
Kanevskyi said that the development of multiculturalism at the level of state policy in Azerbaijan is a great potential for cooperation: "My business trip to the northwestern region of the country with the head of United Community of Ukrainians in Azerbaijan Tamilla Musayeva showed that the development of multiculturalism at the level of state policy and respect for Ukrainian culture in Azerbaijan is a great potential for such cooperation".
