Incredible stage revealed for Eurovision 2024

Broadcaster SVT has revealed detailed graphics of the stage and lighting design for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 taking place at Malmö Arena, Sweden, according to the official website of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Movable LED cubes, LED floors, light, video and stage technology will combine to create some spectacular variations in the arena, while the stage is placed right in the middle of the audience, shaped like a cross, creating a unique 360-degree experience that the audience and viewers will get to experience in May.

The names behind the concept are Florian Wieder, Production Designer, and Fredrik Stormby, Light and Screen Content Designer.

The stage and lighting design for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 puts the audience in focus more than ever before, and as a viewer you will get to experience a visually revolutionary concept where the stage is placed centrally, surrounded by the audience.

The starting point is a monumental installation of video and light, centered above the stage, where the lighting design has been crafted to truly embrace the artists and their performances.

Together, these elements make it possible to create a large number of unique looks for the various performances, thus getting closer to both live and TV audiences.

The next important date in the journey to Malmö is the Semi-Final Draw, which will take place on Tuesday 30 January at 19:00 CET.

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday 7 May (First Semi-Final), Thursday 9 May (Second Semi-Final) and Saturday 11 May (Grand Final) 2024.
