A concert has been held in Russia’s Astrakhan with the participation of artists from Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan region, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, SİA informs from Astrakhan.
At the opening of the event, the huge role of Heydar Aliyev in the development of interregional ties, especially with the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation, was emphasized.
It was also noted that Astrakhan greatly appreciates and honors the merits of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev - concerts, competitions, conferences and other events are held in memory of him.
The concert featured songs in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, as well as folklore groups with national dances of Azerbaijan and Russia.
