The Ministry of Culture announces an open competition among sculptors for the preparation of sketch projects of the monument to be erected in Baku in order to perpetuate the memories of prominent Azerbaijani architects Mikayil Useynov and Sadykh Dadashov, SIA refers to AZERTAC.
According to the ministry, the competition will be held from February 17 to April 17.
Sketch projects will be evaluated by the members of the "Expert commission on the erection and dismantling of sculptural monuments, memorial-memorial and architectural complexes" of the Ministry of Culture.
Discussion of the projects will be held in closed conditions.
Information about the winner of the competition will be published on the official website of the Ministry of Culture (culture.gov.az) 15 days after the end of the main stage - on May 15. Prizes of 2000 manats and 1000 manats will be presented to the second and third place holders, respectively.
The competition is carried out in order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated October 8, 2022 "On the erection of the joint monument of Mikayil Useynov and Sadiq Dadashov".
