Turkish, Russian Presidents hold phone talks

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation.

Sia refers to the statement released by the Presidential Administration of Turkiye.

Accoridng to the report, the leaders discussed regional issues, including the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine war.

President Erdogan reminded the continuing of the necessary efforts with all parties to solve the problems related to the implementation of the Istanbul Agreement in the direction of grain transportation. The President of Turkiye expressed confidence that cooperation relations will be established in this direction as well as in many other issues. He noted that if the parties resolve the grain crisis with a constructive approach, they will encourage steps to return to discussions.

The head of state thanked his Russian counterpart for expressing sincere words about Turkey and himself.
