At least 15 killed in bus-truck collision in Central India

At least 15 people died and about 40 people were injured as a result of a bus colliding with a truck on a highway in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

SIA reports with reference to AZERTAC that most of the passengers were workers.

The injured were taken to the hospital.

India is the country with the highest number of deaths in traffic accidents in the world. Most accidents occur due to careless driving, bad, unmaintained roads and old vehicles.
