Hundreds of flights canceled in Switzerland

The pilots belonging to the Eurowings company operating within the German airline company "Lufthansa" demanded to add 14 days to their annual leave and announced that they will continue the strike they started today for three days, SIA reports, citing Turkish media.

In a statement issued by Eurowings, attention was drawn to the fact that the number of daily flights at Zurich airport has decreased from 230 to 400 due to the strike.

The Financial Director of Eurowings, Kai Duve, who made a statement about the strikes, said that the pilots will be given an additional 10 days of leave, and that the problem can be solved through negotiations. He stressed that the company has lost tens of millions of euros per day due to the strike.
