The process of normalization with Armenia continues in a positive direction, said Sardar Kilic, Turkiye's special representative for the normalization of relations with Armenia, SİA informs, citing Turkish media.
"A positive dynamic is also observed in the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said.
According to Kilic, the normalization of relations between official Ankara and Yerevan should continue without provocations: "Within the qualifying round of Euro-2024, football matches between the teams of the two countries will be held on March 25, 2023 in Armenia, and in September in Turkiye. Our team will go there."
A similar meeting took place in Bursa, Turkiye, in 2009. The then President of Turkiye Abdulla Gul and the then President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan also watched the match from the stadium.
