EU's Council President extends condolences to Erdogan over coal mine blast

The President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel, expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones as a result of the coal mine blast in the Bartın province of Turkiye.

"Saddened by the tragic loss of life in the Bartin coal mine in Turkiye. My sympathies go out to the families who have lost loved ones, and to the entire community as they come together in this moment of grief. Every best wish to the survivors and rescue workers," said the President of the Council of the European Union on his official Twitter account, SIA reports.

The explosion occurred in a coal mine in Amasra district of Bartın province of Turkiye on October 14, resulting in the death of 41 people, as currently reported.
