Erdogan said he remains hopeful for personal meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan remains hopeful that a personal meeting would be organized between the leaders of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, respectively.

In an interview with the American television company PBS, Erdogan noted that he is pursuing a balanced policy in the context of the Russian Federation and Ukraine and listens to both sides. "Therefore, we have a strong desire to bring these leaders together. Let's bring them together. I want to hear everything from them. So far we have not succeeded, but I remain hopeful," Erdogan said.
