The US stands by Turkiye, a NATO ally, in the fight against terrorism, the US Embassy in Turkiye wrote on Twitter, SİA informs.
"US Mission Turkiye offers sincere condolences to the family and friends of the Turkish soldier killed in the attack in Sanliurfa yesterday. The US stands with our NATO ally Turkiye in the fight against terrorism," the embassy tweeted.
On September 18, the PKK terrorist group members committed a terrorist attack in the Suruc province of Sanliurfa. As a result, a soldier of the Turkish army named Ismet Aybek was martyred, and another soldier was injured.
