After the meetings in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Shentop went to Komrat, the center of the Gagauz Autonomous Region.
Shentop was welcomed by the head of the Gagauz Autonomous Region Irina Vlah, the head of the Gagauz Parliament Dmitri Konstantinov and compatriots with Turkish flags in front of the building of the Gagauz Autonomous Region.
The Speaker also took a commemorative photo with the children who welcomed him enthusiastically.
Salt and bread were presented to Shentop during the welcoming ceremony.
After the performance of the local folk dance ensemble, the Speaker of the TBMM held meetings with the Chairman of the Gagauz Autonomous Region I. Vlah and the Chairman of the Gagauz Parliament Konstantinov.
