Germany finds new substitute for Russian oil

The German government intends to discuss the issue of oil transportation to the oil refinery in Schwedt (Federal State of Brandenburg) through the "Druzhba" pipeline with Kazakhstan.

SIA reports with reference to TASS that this was stated in the statement of the German government published on September 16.

The federal government will continue negotiations with the Polish government regarding the framework conditions for the supply of oil to Swed via Gdansk as a priority.

The same is said to be true of the negotiations between the federal government and the government of Kazakhstan regarding the supply of Kazakh oil through the Drujba pipeline.

Earlier, Rosneft Deutschland's oil refinery in Schwedt, which came under the control of the Federal Network Agency, allowed possible restrictions on oil supply through the Drujba pipeline.
