"The danger has not been eliminated yet..." - Mishustin warned

"The danger for Russia from Western sanctions have not been eliminated and the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the markets will continue."

This warning came from the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who held a meeting on the draft federal budget for 2023 and the planning period of 2024 and 2025, SIA refers to Russian websites.

The risks, of course, have not gone away. So far, the collective West has not been able to exclude our country from the global economy. These efforts have led to extremely high prices on the world market and fears about how the coming winter will pass. However, it is clear that we will continue to be pushed out of our usual sales channels.

According to Mishustin: "when making plans for the future, we should not forget our own strategic goals" and "first of all, it is necessary to take into account the goals set by the president within the framework of national development goals."

The Prime Minister promised that the Cabinet of Ministers will continue the adaptation and restructuring of the Russian economy: "For this, only friendly countries are the place of hope.

We will support the redirection of exports to expand our relations with friendly countries. We will build production chains within the country and try to raise the level of our technological and economic sovereignty.

In the long term, this development path is more beneficial for us than maintaining the previous configuration. This opens great opportunities for increasing local production, attracting capital to Russian jurisdiction, as well as strengthening its scientific and technological base."

The Russian Prime Minister seems more hopeful than confident.
