European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell held a phone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, said J.Borrell on Twitter, SİA reports.
“I underlined Turkish role to secure UN deal on export of Ukrainian grain and mitigate impact of Russian aggression against Ukraine. Discussed impact of EU sanctions and expressed hope that Turkiye can use its influence over Russia to stop senseless war,“ he said.
