Japan Prime Minister Kishida tests positive for Covid

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has tested positive for coronavirus, SIA refers to the press service of the Prime Minister.

The 65-year-old politician, just returned from a week-long vacation, was due to return to work on Monday with an overseas trip scheduled for later in the week.

He is currently residing in Tokyo. According to "NHK" TV channel, Kishida had symptoms of coronavirus - mild fever and cough on Saturday evening.
