An explosion occurred in the arms and ammunition warehouse of Saraya al-Salam, the armed wing of the Sadr Group led by Shiite leader Muqtada Sadr, in Najaf, located in the south of Iraq, SIA cites foreign media.
It was reported that the weapons and ammunition depot was located near the Olympic Stadium in the city.
The authorities announced that 7 people were killed and at least 3 were injured as a result of the explosion.
The explosion was revealed to be caused by excessive heat in the city of Najaf.
