President Ilham Aliyev assessed the Tbilisi meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia as a first step towards the initiation of talks on a peace treaty between the two countries.
In a phone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the head of state said that Azerbaijan had already formed the composition of its commission on drafting a peace treaty and expects Armenia to do the same.
