SIA informs about this with reference to the general statistics of the structures for fighting coronavirus in individual countries.
According to reports, 6,401,860 people died of COVID-19 globally during the pandemic, while 544,001,220 people infected with the virus recovered.
The most cases of infection were detected in the United States (92,145,839), India (43,868,476), Brazil (33,555,526), France (33,482,230), and Germany (30,331,131).
The highest number of deaths from coronavirus in the world was recorded in the United States (1,051,912). Next on the list are Brazil (676,826), India (525,997), Russia (382,118), Mexico (326,968), Peru (213,953), Indonesia (156,902), France (151,350), United Kingdom (182,727 ).
Covid-19 began to spread in Wuhan, China in December 2019. The World Health Organization (WHO) named the infection COVID-19 on February 11, 2020, and declared the infection a pandemic on March 11.
