Today, more than 38,000 women serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of which more than 5,000 are currently on the front lines.
SIA reports with reference to "Ukrinform" that this was stated by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar.
"In addition to 38,000 female soldiers, civilian women also work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, we have more than 50,000 women in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, we have more than 5,000 women on the front line," Malyar said.
