Another athlete of Ukraine has died in the war with Russia. Ukrainian amateur strongman champion Vasily Paveliev came under enemy fire while performing a combat mission, SIA cites UNIAN.
Along with the athlete, who is a member of the Kiev patrol police, his colleague Oleg Prudky a two time Ukrainian amateur boxing champion has also died in war with Russia.
In total around 100 Ukrainian athletes have died in the war.
