Odessa port hit by Russian missiles

Russian missiles had struck the Odessa sea port with Kalibr cruise missiles. SIA reports with reference to "RBK-Ukraine".

According to the report, two of the missiles were shot down by air defences and two hit port infrastructure.

There were several explosions in Odessa on July 23. An air raid warning was issued in the city.

On July 22, in Istanbul, Ukraine, Turkey and Russia, with the support of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, agreed to promote safe transportation for the export of grain, related food products and fertilizers (including ammonia). Under the deal, Ukrainian officials would guide ships through safe channels across mined waters to three ports, including Odessa, where they would be loaded with grain.

The grain agreement is in force for a period of 120 days, and is renewable, according to the text of the agreement posted on the Facebook page of Andrii Sybiha, the deputy head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office.
