Germany needs to abandon the so-called circular deliveries of heavy weapons Ukraine and start supplying it directly, said Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, the head of the Bundestag Defense Committee, SİA reports citing Deutsche Welle.
“We must find the courage to admit that round-robin is not working as we imagined, and accordingly we must move to direct deliveries instead,” Strack-Zimmerman said.
Recall that before this, the Bundestag Defense Committee called on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz as call as soon as possible “National Conference on Ukraine” to agree on further actions to help Ukraine.
