Spain's inflation surpasses 10% in June, first time since 1985

Spain's 12-month inflation rose to 10.2% in June, the first time it has surpassed 10% since April 1985, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said, SİA informs, citing TASS.

Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages in June rose by 12.9% in Spain compared to the same period last year, the highest increase since 1994. Also, the institute drew attention to the rise in prices for fuel and electricity.
