The Council of the European Union (EU) at the level of ministers of economy and finance approved the decision on Croatia's entry into the Eurozone from January 1, 2023.

SIA reports with reference to TASS that this was stated by the press service of the EU Council.

"The EU Council has adopted the necessary legal acts. Croatia will be the 20th EU country to join the Eurozone," the statement said.

Earlier, this decision was approved at the EU summit on June 24 and in the European Parliament on July 5.
