Adviser to the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak said that they need heavy weapons to stop the war with Russia. SIA refers to Russian websites.
"Frankly, to end the war and drive Russia out of Ukraine, we need 1,000 155-mm howitzers, 500 tanks, 300 rocket launchers, 2,000 armored vehicles and 1,000 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)," Podolyak wrote on Twitter.
Ukraine is waiting for a decision on this issue from the meeting of NATO defense ministers on June 15.
